I need to scream about RE ID bc like. Did I enjoy it? Yeah, I did. Was it. Just wrapped up way too nicely and quickly? Also yeah. I was a little disappointed by it tho, like the length, and the flashback scenes weren't as clear as I think they should have been? Like I understood what was happening, but it took me a little too much brain power to like keep up with what was and wasn't a flashback lmao
Also I wanna say, I get wanting to keep Jun See alive but god, that did not look fun. Just let him die, dude, no one wants to live like that, smh.
Thank god they kept Leon's one liners tho, like thank you for that at least lol also Claire, my GIRL, I love her holy shit. Honestly she was amazing, like, just perfect. Not sure why she has a gun in the promotional poster, bc she just. Never has a gun throughout the entire show, I don't think? Also can we talk about how she took that guy down with that lamp, and then hopped on top of him just fucking ready to continue to beat the shit out of him? Chris would be so proud 🥲
Okay also, I saw what you said with that flirting scene, and I agree that it seemed like Leon was trying to lighten the mood, but it so didn't need to be put in there at all @ the writers. Like this show could have gotten away with no romance, or just that one moment near the end with Claire and Leon (which, I don't ship them much, and that moment at the v end where she was like "are you ever gonna stop treating me like a kid?" And he responded with "probably not" or whatever kind of ruined whatever was shown earlier? Like it feels like she's had that convo with Chris before too, so I'm like hm no don't imply romance and then imply that he treats her like a little kid every time they run into each other, now it's weird lol) and been fine. None of the story was contingent on any kind of romance between anyone.
Now with that said, can I just say Patrick absolutely wanted to suck Leon's dick? Like he was smitten, and I bet you they at least fuck after all this is said and done, if not date for a short period of time. I thought they were gonna kill Patrick off, I'm glad they didn't tho, he was v wholesome lol.
Also I wanna mention that every serious moment (save a small handful) I just. I couldn't take it seriously, it was too over the top. Acid? Really? That's the self destruct measure? Slowly rising acid? I dunno, that doesn't seem quite right to me, I don't think that's how it works lol
Honestly they should have just made this into a new movie, bc making it a series implies more to follow and in general a longer narrative, but these eps were barely 20 minutes each, so there's almost no point splitting it like that. Did I enjoy myself? Yeah, I always do when Leon is involved, but it could have been so much better.
Also the silly little shipper in me is kind of desperate for more interaction between Chris and Leon, bc as far as I'm aware it's just RE6, RE vendetta, and RE ID (and I think the person who told Chris to save Claire in either code x or Veronica was Leon? Not 100% about that tho lol) where they actually interact with each other, and considering that they're the two main characters of the franchise, they should probably meet up more? Idk, that's just my gay ass hoping for more Chreon content lmao but still.
ANYWAYS yeah, I would rate the show like a 7.5/10? It wasn't amazing but it wasn't garbage, either. Probably my least favorite of the four animated movies tbh, but I will take the Leon content, thank you Capcom. Also it was interesting to see Leon around the time following/around RE4 and RE degeneration, I thought, I dunno.
oh boy I agree 100% it was wrapped up way too quickly in the end. like killing Jason? by just dropping him in the acid? it was way too simple and easy if you ask me. and like, why didn't he yeet Leon into the acid when he had him by the throat? him not killing Leon makes zero sense to me??
asdfg yeah I get they weren't ready to let Jun See go, but I bet Jun See really would've preferred to go...
I am so happy that they kept the one liners!! Leon felt very, very in character which I loved so much. I was afraid they'd tone it down or make him super serious or so, and it was such a relief they didn't. he was so eager to help and so goddamn kind to everyone I don't know if my heart can even handle it ;;;;;
also Claire!! so badass!! I loved the part where she attacked the guy with the lamp (yes Chris would be super proud haha) and THE HEADBUTT seriously, one of the top highlights of the entire series :'D
(but honestly this is gonna get long i'mma gonna hit that read more here)
and the flirting scene, I do think they could've left it out entirely and it felt a little strong-armed in. but I'm trying to look at the silver lining? Leon was super goddamn adorable in it, like, so cute it hurts :'D and Shen May didn't seem bothered really, it was more this joking thing between them. so while yes, it was unnecessary, i'm focusing on the joking feel of it and choosing to interpret it as such :'D
also, can I just say, the "romantic moment" with Claire and Leon near the end didn't feel very romantic to me? I know it's a romcom cliché (or at least a fanfic cliché lmao) how they ended up in a pile after the rescue but ...it didn't scream romance to me? although I do kind of like the pairing! (not a top fave but a cute one)
and yes, the whole "when are you gonna stop treating me like a kid?" "probably never" felt SO much like a sibling moment!! such big brother energy from Leon, and I don't know, that made me super duper happy?? I want them to be friends. I neeeed them to be friends gdi. which is why I am unhappy with how mad Claire seemed to be at Leon in the end and how they left it off like they did. I am hoping that it sets things up for a second season? and they for whatever reason need them on kind of the opposing sides at first? because otherwise it makes no sense to me for her to be that disappointed in him. in Degeneration they already establish they work in different ways towards the same goal, and for that to do a 180 now feels... like a disservice to the characters? idk?
lmaooooo but yes Patrick 100% wanted to suck Leon's dick he didn't even try to be subtle about it :'D idk I would've wanted Patrick to have more depth and screentime too, i so wish they would've made it a longer series and given the characters more development. because I liked pretty much all of the new characters they introduced! but it feels none of them reached their actual potential!
then again that is kind of the whole deal with resident evil in general, they set up awesome characters and end up wasting them half of the time :'D guess i shouldn't be surprised.
THE SLOWLY RISING ACID PISSED ME OFF lmaooo c'mon!! it doesn't seem like a good self destruct measure. especially since ...you'd need different acid to dissolve organic matter and to dissolve inorganic matter if we're being nitpicky. and how would it be plausible for them to store enough of it safely to even do this?? they should've just detonated the whole place and blown it to smithereens or something, the acid was. stupid.
i agree, it feels like a movie. but I think @tirsynni is probably right when saying that it was sort of a test run to see if they should make more? which I am so hoping for. because even with the complaints I have of this, I DID enjoy it, a lot!! and I do want more! and maybe this time we get Claire and Leon actually working together for more than fifteen seconds! :'D
also I definitely would not say no to more Chris and Leon interactions. (yes it was Leon who told Chris to save Claire :) at least that) it... in general makes no sense to me how capcom seems to think friendships work? like how Sherry is all "Leon and Claire are my best friends" and then they imply they haven't met in years? if not more? idek it's. weird. it's like their characters go into storage containers in between their missions to be stored away so they can't even accidentally have personal lives or friendships or anything. weird.
(what I said about having amazing characters and ending up wasting their potential? yeah)
for me, personally, it's... well, my score for the show would depend on whether I just focus on the characterizations and what I liked, or if I try to actually take the plot and all into account too :'D but I did like this more than Degeneration! already the fact that Leon has actual facial expressions is enough to put it way above that one. (and for the record, I don't hate Degeneration either, I do like it, but... Leon is such a cardboard cutout with zero personality in it, it's super frustrating)
idk I think I need to still process this a bit to see how I will like it in the end :'D there are things i'm super hyped about in it, and things i'm disappointed in, let's see how they'll weigh in the overall experience eventually.

anime featuring adult women
there are a lot of great female characters in anime, but sometimes it feels like they’re all supporting characters in shows about men or they haven’t graduated high school yet. I wanted to compile a list of some anime with adult women front and center
kidou keisatsu patlabor on tv:
in the sci-fi future as imagined in 1988, human-piloted robots called labors are used regularly by all kinds of people, including criminals. to combat labor crime, the police develop a special unit of patrol labors—patlabor. instead of following the prestigious division one, we follow a cast of quirky characters in second-string division two, as they solve cases ranging from mundane to dangerous to paranormal
Tumblr media
izumi noa, and why I love her:
she’s incredibly strong-willed and stubborn. she’ll stand up to anyone. she’s obsessed with labors, not just piloting them herself but repairing them and learning about new developments in the field. even though division two is primarily men and there is the “men at work” vibe of so much military and police fiction, noa fits in easily with the guys and no one excludes her. the few times people do question her skills bc of her gender, they’re immediately shut down
other women in the cast:
nagumo shinobu, the captain of division one. we never actually see her or her unit at work, but they have a great reputation. I just love her bc she’s very funny always shutting down the captain of division two and I like that in-universe there are women in leadership roles like this
kanuka clancy, a visiting cop from new york. her relationship with noa is very strong, definitely shippable. she’s adept with a gun, a sword, and a giant robot. she’s the serious member of the team who yells at the others for being dumb but there are still times where she goes completely off the rails and ignores the law to do what she knows is right
wotakoi: love is hard for otaku:
momose narumi is an office worker and a fujoshi. she wants to keep the fujoshi part a secret this time around because things went south for her at her last job once people found out she was an otaku, but it turns out several of her new coworkers are fellow nerds. most importantly, her game-loving childhood friend hirotaka works at the same company, and the two of them reconnect as friends… and soon more than friends. it’s a romance drama involving only nerds
Tumblr media
momose narumi, and why I love her:
she’s a lot like your standard high school girl protagonist who runs out of the house because she’s late for school, but this time she’s late for work. she’s really funny and straightforward, except she thinks she has to hide that side of her at her job. she and hirotaka have a great childhood friends to lovers relationship. she’s kind of rude to him but he adores her (though he’s kind of bad at showing it). I love a cheerful girl/serious guy romance that’s done well and I think this one really is
other women in the cast:
koyanagi hanako, narumi’s new coworker who’s a fellow fujoshi. she’s also a cosplayer, specifically a crossplayer who specializes in cosplaying as handsome guys. she and narumi only met each other under their fandom nicknames before, but they were big fans of each other and hit it off instantly when they meet at work. they’re cute friends even if they always argue about who tops in their ships
psycho-pass:
in a futuristic society, people’s mental health is constantly measured by “psycho-pass” readings which track their emotional state and judge the likelihood that they will commit a crime. naive rookie cop tsunemori akane leads a team of enforcers, people who are considered “latent criminals” too dangerous to live in normal society but who are still useful to the police. akane develops a close relationship with enforcer kougami shinya in particular, but kougami has his own intense relationship with the elusive criminal makishima shogo. as the team of detectives investigate him, they uncover secrets about the system they never wanted to learn and their fates become entwined with makishima’s
psycho-pass is written by urobuchi gen (madoka magica, fate/zero) and if you’re familiar with him you know what to expect. the show is pretty grim and gory. content warnings for rape, violence, gore, body horror, police violence, the predatory lesbian trope, forced institutionalization, and probably a lot of other things I can’t remember. not a light watch, is what I’m saying
Tumblr media
tsunemori akane, and why I love her:
she’s incredibly principled. she sticks to what she believes is right despite immense pressure. it’s precisely because she’s naive and doesn’t understand the system that she is able to fight against it. she grows a huge amount over the course of the series but she never loses her compassion or her sense of right and wrong. she’s pretty badass too
other women in the cast:
karanomori shion, a lab analyst at the public safety bureau. she’s your typical sexy and flirtatious anime character but I think her position within the setting is interesting. although she’s categorized as a “latent criminal” unfit for society, she seems to be valued more than the enforcers. she’s also bisexual and dating a woman, though she plays into the “bisexuals can’t settle down” trope a little. she is not actually the best character or peak representation but I’m pretty attached to her and a certain type of woman will be too
kunizuka yayoi, a lesbian former musician and the only female enforcer. she’s shion’s girlfriend. there is a predatory lesbian character in this series, but it’s not kunizuka. I think her being a lesbian is handled pretty well. she has romantic and sexual relationships with women that are important to her, but she doesn’t hate men or flirt with every woman she meets (traits I hate to see in lesbian characters written by men). she’s really serious and calm but still cute and I love to see her growing respect for akane over the course of the show
death parade:
two people wake up in a strange bar with no memory of how they got there. a mysterious man with white hair named decim and his assistant, a woman known only as “the black haired woman,” ask them to play a game. the games are both absurd and dangerous, and as the contestants play them dark sides of themselves are revealed. decim’s job is to judge them based on their behavior while playing the games, but the black haired woman’s influence causes him to wonder if he’s doing the right thing
like it says in the title, the anime deals with the topic of death, and death by suicide comes up as well. I don’t remember everyone’s backstories but I think violence and abuse come up several times. there are also mannequins that move around on marionette strings which is kind of freaky
Tumblr media
the black haired woman, and why I love her:
it might be wrong to say that she’s the main character when she isn’t introduced until the end of the first episode and her name isn’t revealed for half the show but listen. she’s the emotional core of the show and the person who sets the events in motion. she’s a very emotional person and that’s her strength. her relationship with decim is the classic “woman teaches cold-hearted man to feel” trope but I think it’s an outstanding example bc it centers her emotional experience and the two of them are not explicitly in a romantic relationship. I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers but for her it’s almost unavoidable. I love the way that her story is slowly revealed over the course of the show culminating in an incredible sequence in episode 11. I think her depression is handled so well too. it’s heartbreaking
other women in the cast:
nona, the boss of the arbiters. she’s a schemer who knows a whole lot of things she’s keeping from everyone else. I really like her outfit above all else. baggy pants with suspenders… a great look
mayu, a high school girl who is a contestant in one of the games. she tries to be cutesy but is prone to anger and makes incredible faces. I like that she’s an obsessive fangirl character who’s played for humor but is also shown as being noble and sympathetic
sakura quest:
koharu yoshino is a woman who moved to tokyo to find a job but has no luck. when she finally gets a job offer, it’s to become “queen for a day” of rural manoyama village. upon arriving in manoyama, she learns that she was only hired because they thought she was someone else but they still want her to work there for an entire year. now she lives in a small town and is tasked with both revitalizing the citizens and drawing tourists in, along with the help of four friends. it may not sound funny and heartwarming but it really is. it’s a good story about connecting and reconnecting and also the head of the tourism board wears a chupacabra mask sometimes
Tumblr media
the main characters, and why I love them:
koharu yoshino, queen of manoyama. her struggle in the job market is unfortunately relatable to many people today and I love that she wishes she could have a job as a queen. she’s great and she really comes to love the town despite everything
shiori shinomiya, a very sweet manoyama native. she’s almost too nice but it makes it all the funnier when she gets intense
maki midorikawa, an aspiring actor who is famous among manoyama citizens for a small role she played in the past. she’s serious about acting but her family wishes she would get a more stable job. she can be kind of rude but she does love her friends and her town
sanae kouzuki, a web developer who moved to manoyama to escape the intensity of city life and the negative effects it had on her mental health. the problem is she hates rural life and is afraid of bugs but is too proud to admit it on her blog. the only true city girl among the five
ririko oribe, my favorite of the five. she’s shy but loves cryptids and the occult. it’s very easy to read her as autistic and the other characters affirm her interests and behavior. her love of cryptids even helps the town out when Spanish tourists come in search of a local legend. her relationship with her grandma is really good as well, with the two coming to understand and love each other over the course of the show

Itch (Seungkwan)
Request: hi !! could i please request a seungkwan soulmate university AU where ur friends with jeonghan whos met his soulmate, but u only recently got close so he introduces u to his friends and u have to excuse urself w jeonghan bc ur tattoo starts to itch and u dont know whats going on,, ill leave the rest to u tysm !!
» You’re friends with Jeonghan, who’s a year above you at your university. He’s already met his soulmate, and as you continue thinking about yours whom you were yet to meet, he figures that having you meet his friends could cheer you up. Your soulmate tattoo acts up, which leads you to discover your soulmate.
» If you’re using the tumblr app and can’t see the scenario, which is under a “keep reading”, please try opening the post in your phone’s internet browser (or a computer)! 💕
» 4,090 words
Turning seventeen was a turning point for everyone. Until then no one was expected to care about their soulmate, although some were still wary of growing feelings towards anyone with the knowledge that they might not be meant for them. You, on the other hand, had been one of those who didn’t really think about it much and instead followed your heart while living life to the fullest.
However, it wouldn’t last forever, and after you woke up during the night before your seventeenth birthday, nothing had been the same.
You had woken up due a tingling, irritating sensation on the back of your right shoulder, and when you had looked at it from the mirror in the morning, you could only stare at the soulmate tattoo that had formed there, a beautiful depiction of what seemed like two flowers meshed together.
Ever since then you had spent countless sleepless nights just gently tracing the tattoo, wondering what the person who had an identical tattoo on the back of their right shoulder was like.
Would they be your type? Would they have similar values with you? Would you share any interests with them? Would your personalities match?
It kept you awake a lot, really. While it was said that your soulmate would be the person you’re the best match for, by the time you were in your second year of university you knew about several occasions where the match had been everything but made in heaven.
That was yet another day when you had gotten lost in thought, thinking about what-ifs regarding your soulmate, and it had not gone unnoticed by Jeonghan. He was a year above you, but since his part-time job had taken a fair share of his time, he was still doing some second-year courses, where you had also met half a year earlier. You hadn’t really started getting closer until recently, however, after you had worked together on a longer project and realized that you got along very well and had a lot of things in common.
And, since he had already met his soulmate, you felt like he was providing you with some sort of support as you still waited for the day when you’d finally meet yours.
“Y/N,” Jeonghan called from the other side of the table you were seated by in the library, and grinned at you when you jolted. “I don’t think thinking about your soulmate will help you in the exam.”
You pouted at your friend, but nodded in defeat. “I know. It’s just… when will I meet them?”
“When the time is right,” Jeonghan said, half-joking, but you knew well that that was the general answer.
“How did you meet your soulmate?” you asked, your eyes trained on the tattoo on Jeonghan’s inner wrist, and only moved your gaze into his dreamy brown eyes when he hummed.
“They came to the convenience store five minutes before my shift ended,” he said with a snort, and you felt your heart drop at how close it had been that he hadn’t met his soulmate that time. “And, you know, when they paid for their things I saw the inside of their wrist, and I just couldn’t let it go.”
You nodded and slowly drifted back to your daydreams, from which Jeonghan would eventually pull you out of again.
You couldn’t help but wonder how you’d meet your soulmate and when. Would it be a similar close call, and more importantly, had you already missed a chance to meet them?
Days went by and your sense of longing for a person you didn’t even know only remained, and as you and Jeonghan also continued hanging out more and more, he had come up with an attempt to cheer you up a little.
You were studying at a cafe that was surprisingly quiet considering the amount of customers, and after eyeing you for a while, Jeonghan finally spoke up.
“Say, Y/N,” he began thoughtfully and placed his pen between his upper lip and nose, from where it fell when you snorted at the sight and he laughed heartily. Knowing that he had your attention, he continued, looking at you warmly. “We’re pretty close now and all, and I’ve got some friends who want to meet you. Are you up for that?”
“Why do they want to meet me?” you asked incredulously, squinting your eyes a little, and Jeonghan couldn’t help but giggle at how adorable he thought you looked.
“I’ve told them a lot of fun stories and they’re always up for meeting new cool people,” Jeonghan noted, and although your mind immediately jumped to what kind of fun stories he could possibly mean, you also found yourself smiling almost smugly.
“I’m cool now?” you asked while scribbling on your notebook.
“Their words, not mine,” Jeonghan said and laughed when you threw him a quick glare. “But so, are you up for it?”
“Sure,” you hummed, mentally going through all the friends you’d ever heard Jeonghan talk about. “So it’ll be… who?”
Jeonghan listed you the names, and you smiled at the memory rules of a kind he had after each one: you weren’t the only one he enjoyed telling stories about. Mingyu, the accident-prone guy who was still the person to go to for help. Joshua, his best friend who had two very different sides to him. Seokmin, the one you got a fun story about at least once a week. Seungkwan, the one who always livened the atmosphere and took care of everyone. And, as the last person Jeonghan could fit into his apartment, Seungcheol, the only one who could ever drag him out for a workout.
“Sounds like a good crowd,” you hummed and nodded. “When?”
“This Friday,” Jeonghan grinned, excited to have all of you meet, which he hoped would not only cheer you up but also enable him to hang out with all of you at once.
Besides, he had a feeling you’d get along with his friends just fine, and so far he hadn’t met anyone who would’ve said no to discovering new people they enjoyed being with.
You waited for Friday with excitement and anxiety, feeling a sense of pressure about meeting people who, at least according to Jeonghan, wanted to meet you. You couldn’t help but feel like they were expecting you to be somehow cool and amazing, and you weren’t sure if you were what they expected.
All you could do, you supposed, was to calm yourself down and meet them with an open mind and, as difficult as it may feel, be yourself.
And so, that Friday you were headed to Jeonghan’s place. When you were still several meters away from the door leading to the hallway, you saw someone open the door to go in, which made you speed up.
Fortunately you didn’t have to raise your voice to ask them to keep the door open for you, as the dark-haired boy turned around right on time and looked at you, and without a word kept the door open until you could get in, too.
“Thank you,” you said with a small smile when you finally reached the door, and felt a new sensation run through your body when your gaze met the boy’s.
Like electricity.
“No problem,” he said warmly and walked to the elevator, where you followed him. After pressing the button to the fourth floor, he turned to look at you. “What floor are you going to?”
“Ah, the fourth, too,” you said and clutched the strap of the bag you had on one of your shoulders.
It was the first time you were feeling so many things in the company of a stranger, and you were confused, to say the least.
Your heart was beating a bit faster, and while you felt restless you also felt comfortable. You had never met the boy before, but there was something very familiar - reassuring - about him, and that feeling only confused you more.
Once the elevator doors opened on the fourth floor, you walked to Jeonghan’s door, and were all the more surprised when the boy stopped next to you and reached to knock on the door.
This time it was you turning to him, mustering up all of your courage before speaking. “Are you one of Jeonghan’s friends?”
“Yeah,” he smiled and tilted his head a little. “I’m Seungkwan. Unless he’s invited more people, I take it you’re Y/N?”
You nodded with a small smile, and somehow the stories you had heard from Jeonghan, most of them positive, made Seungkwan appear all the more warm and comfortable to you.
Before the two of you were able to get further than saying that you were happy to meet one another, Jeonghan was already opening the door and grinning at the two of you.
“Oh, I see you two have already met,” he snickered and let you in to his apartment, where the others were pretty much gathered around the coffee table, some sitting on the floor and some on the couch. Jeonghan looked at the others and pointed at the two of you, as though showcasing you.  “Y/N and Seungkwan are here.”
Everyone greeted you with bright smiles, and all you could do was scan through the faces, some of which you had seen in photos that Jeonghan had shown you, but you could hardly put a name and face together for any of them.
After you and Seungkwan had gotten your shoes and jackets off and everything, you joined the others by the table that had plenty of snacks and beverages to enjoy. Everyone was excited and eager to introduce themselves to you, and while you were a bit nervous in such a new situation with strangers, their antics made you feel more at ease fairly soon.
You were sitting next to Seungkwan, who somehow only made you feel more comfortable, and his affectionate bickering with Mingyu made you snort from time to time, which he noted with an amused smile.
Not too long into chatting with everyone, you frowned and reached for your tattoo to rub it. It was starting to get itchy, but for the time being you deemed it to simply be irritation for whatever reason; you never knew.
However, as the evening progressed, the itch got worse and worse, to the point where it took up most of your thoughts. You were uncomfortable, constantly rubbing or scratching or grazing the tattoo with your nails, but it never kept the itch away for more than a few seconds. By then you had moved to the kitchen to try to deal with it while drinking water, and Jeonghan was standing by the wall with Seokmin, who seemed to be telling a story.
Sighing, you figured Jeonghan might be able to help you, and so you placed your hand on your tattoo and walked up to Jeonghan and Seokmin. Jeonghan turned to look at you with surprise written all over his face, and his expression turned more concerned when he saw your puzzled expression that also gave away that you were feeling rather uncomfortable.
“Can I borrow you for a sec?” you asked, and Jeonghan frowned a little, but once he saw where you kept your hand, he immediately nodded and let you drag him into his small bedroom.
“Are you okay?” he asked when you were in the peace of his bedroom, and you nodded while lightly scratching your tattoo.
“I guess, it’s just… my tattoo is itching a lot and I don’t know why, and I thought maybe you could help me a little,” you said through your discomfort, and once you lifted your gaze to Jeonghan’s eyes, you were surprised to see them as big as they were.
His eyebrows only seemed to rise more and more, and when you quirked your eyebrow, urging him to just spill it, he melted into a playful smile. “Y/N, that’s kind of… that means you’re near your soulmate.”
You processed his words for a moment, and the more of it registered in your brain the faster your heart started beating.
You were near your soulmate.
Having been at Jeonghan’s place some times before without any itching on your tattoo, you figured that maybe it wasn’t the location but the people, and so you slowly moved your gaze out of the bedroom door, scanning over his friends that you’d just met.
With the widest grin you’d ever seen on his face, Jeonghan turned to look back into the living room, too, scanning over his guests. “I really wonder who it is.”
You could only nod as you looked around as well, your heart beating fast in your chest at the possibility of meeting your soulmate. Your gaze went over everyone again and again, yet you were constantly drawn to a very particular guy with a loud laugh, a bright smile and a habit of fixing his fringe by a shake of his head.
Your breath hitched in your throat when you took note of just how often he was rubbing the back of his right shoulder, always accompanied by a puzzled frown.
Before you were able to finish your thought, Jeonghan turned to look at you with his eyebrows raised. “I think your soulmate might be Seungkwan.”
And as soon as you thought about how you had felt in his company that evening, starting from the very first time your gazes met at the door to the hallway, it all made sense.
How you hadn’t realized to think more of it was beyond you, and you still weren’t sure if your soulmate really would be Seungkwan, but you were itching to find out - quite literally, too, you noted bitterly as you tapped your tattoo with your nails in an attempt to ease the itch a little.
“How did you not realize this before?” you asked Jeonghan with a pout and hit his arm with your hand lightly.
He was still grinning almost uncontrollably, and he looked at you warmly while shrugging. “He’s just really the type to keep his shirt on and while we’ve talked about soulmates, he’s never shown me the tattoo.”
“Okay,” you huffed, and felt your heart flutter the slightest bit when Jeonghan mumbled something about having a feeling about you getting along particularly well with Seungkwan.
“Alright Y/N, come on, time to get things going,” Jeonghan more or less declared before you were able to ask him to explain himself, and he quickly took your hand into his before dragging you back to the living room, where he brought you to Seungkwan.
Seeing the two of you approach, Seungkwan turned away from the song cover video Joshua was showing him and instead looked up at Jeonghan with his eyebrows raised.
“Seungkwan, Y/N here has to go home and I think you’re just the person to walk them there. I think you guys have a lot to talk about,” Jeonghan said energetically, and you felt your heart jump to your throat when Seungkwan turned to look at you, right into your eyes.
His eyes dilated a little as soon as his gaze met yours, and you just knew he’d felt the jolt of electricity, too.
“Do you live far?” he asked, and feeling a sudden surge of confusion wash over you, you nodded and shook your head at the same time. Seungkwan snorted, at which you felt your cheeks heat up and shook your head to clear your thoughts.
“Not that far,” you said, and got a playful nod from him.
“It’s fine, I could use a longer walk, too,” he hummed and got up from the couch.
A small smile spread to your lips, and the sight of it made him smile, too, and Jeonghan gently ushered the two of you to the door while the others laughed.
“Are you coming back?” Joshua asked Seungkwan from the couch, and after checking the time on his phone, Seungkwan shook his head.
Jeonghan, too, shook his head knowingly. “He has other things to do.”
Seungkwan threw his friend a confused look, but before he was able to ask Jeonghan what he thought he knew, you were already opening the door. “Alright, it was nice to meet you guys! See you again!”
The others replied with similar words, and after Seungkwan had gotten into the hallway and you were about to close the door, you still got a wink from Jeonghan. “Good luck.”
“Shush,” you groaned in a whisper, already feeling nervous and stressed, and took in a deep breath after closing the door.
You turned around and nearly jolted at the way Seungkwan was staring at you.
“Did you really need me to walk you home?” he asked, playfulness all over his voice and tone, and you found yourself shaking your head with an embarrassed smile on your face. He laughed. “Then why?”
“I’ll tell you when we’re walking,” you blurted, and let out the breath you hadn’t realized you were holding when Seungkwan agreed to wait.
The two of you took the elevator back down in comfortable silence, and as you stepped into the street, he looked at you curiously, waiting for you to say something.
You licked your lips slowly as you built up the courage to bring up the topic of your possibly matching soulmate tattoos, and when you spoke you did it as steadily as you could with your heart hammering in your chest. “So… I noticed you’ve been rubbing your right shoulder a lot.”
He gave you an embarrassed smile and rubbed the spot in question a little. “Yeah, I don’t know what’s happening. My tattoo’s never been like this before.”
“Jeonghan said that it’s related to being near your soulmate,” you blurted, and he stopped in his tracks. When you turned to look at him, you were met with a quirked eyebrow, and it was with a quivering smile that you turned a little and tugged down your jacket and the collar of your shirt to show him your tattoo. “Mine’s been itching a lot tonight, too.”
Seungkwan could only stare at your tattoo in silence. His heart was racing in his chest as he tried to find any differences between your tattoos, but ultimately failed. When he spoke, he sounded dazed. “They’re identical.”
“Do you… want to show me?” you asked quietly, letting go of your collar, and nervously turned back to face him properly and watched him slide his denim jacket down, after which he tugged at his collar, too, to reveal a tattoo identical to yours.
Your feelings could hardly be described with words. Your eyes watered as you stared at the tattoo with a happy smile spreading to your lips, strong waves of disbelief, relief, serenity and gratitude washing over you.
When Seungkwan turned to look into your eyes, you could see his eyes glistening under the street lights, too. “I never thought I’d meet you like this.”
Nodding silently, you bit down on the inside of your lower lip and swallowed your tears when you felt his hand shyly reaching for yours, which only seemed to make you more emotional.
Chuckling softly, Seungkwan gave you an amused look despite being emotional, too. “Do you want a hug, maybe?”
You hadn’t exactly ever hugged someone you’d just met nor had you wanted to, but Seungkwan wasn’t just anyone and you were feeling the most vulnerable you ever had, and so you found yourself nodding, stepping closer and wrapping your arms around him loosely as you hid your face in his shoulder.
He slowly wrapped his arms around you, too, and you felt his nose on the side of your head as he embraced you. You could almost feel how fast his heart was beating, and it made you laugh, after which you sniffled quietly.
The two of you stood there hugging one another for a good two minutes before pulling apart, feeling overwhelmed, to say the least, and Seungkwan smiled at you warmly while you wiped your cheeks with your sleeves. “Do you want to grab something to drink and just… go somewhere more peaceful?”
“I’d love that,” you said, looking into his eyes with a sense of security settling into your heart, and walked with him to the nearest cafe with your knuckles brushing against each other’s every now and then.
Only after you had gotten your drinks and left the cafe did you dare to reach for his hand and hold it, looking at him from the corner of your eye to make sure it was okay. When you saw Seungkwan’s lips curve into a smile you concluded that it probably was, and so you walked to a small park that was pleasantly quiet at that time of the evening.
You found yourselves a bench by the path and settled there comfortably, facing each other with your cups on the bench between the two of you as you started to get to know each other, all the way from the basics - how old you were, where you studied, what your families were like and so forth.
It didn’t take long for both of you to feel like you were hanging out with someone you had known for a while already, and the playful teasing came more or less naturally for both of you.
The past five years you had been thinking about what your soulmate would be like, and now that you had met him, you were over the moon. If not perfect, at least he seemed promising.
He made you laugh, he read you well, he had good manners and seemed to vibe well with you, on top of which you did find him incredibly attractive, to the point where it made you a bit stressed.
All in all your worries faded away as hours passed and you and Seungkwan talked about everything that came to mind. Neither of you really wanted to part ways, but when you yawned for the fifth time in a short period of time, Seungkwan chuckled softly.
“Should I now walk you home?” he asked playfully and grazed the back of your hand lightly with his finger.
Giving him a tired smile, you nodded and looked into his eyes. “I think that’s a good idea.”
With that the two of you left the park, and after disposing your cups you reached for his hand, which you held onto during the walk to your place. He smiled when he noticed his heart flutter a little at that, and you, in turn, smiled when you felt him squeeze your hand.
You walked while continuing the excited chatter, and once you reached your building, Seungkwan pouted and looked at you, at that point holding your pinky finger with his. “Do you want to meet again at some point?”
“At some point?” you asked with a grin and laughed heartily. “We’re soulmates, I’d love to meet you again, whenever you have time. Preferably soon. I’m free tomorrow.”
He laughed at your obvious excitement and looked at you warmly. “I’ve got nothing tomorrow, either. And you’re sure it’s not too soon?”
“I think we’ve waited enough,” you said softly and took a step closer to him. “Meeting again so soon doesn’t have to mean we won’t take it slow.”
“Alright,” Seungkwan nodded, and after he let go of your pinky finger you felt him place his hand lightly on your back. “So… dinner?”
“Why not lunch?” you asked playfully, knowing full well why, and laughed when he looked at you with that look.
“Well, first of all, we just spent five hours talking in the park, it’s three in the morning and I need my sleep,” he listed and laughed afterwards. Then his gaze softened again. “And I think dinner will take longer, which means we get to talk more.”
“You’ve got a point,” you grinned and nodded and leaned in for a hug, during which you inhaled his scent that already felt comfortable and all kinds of pleasant to you. “I’ll see you tomorrow. And please let me know when you get home.”
“I will,” Seungkwan said quietly and hugged you with a serene smile on his lips.
Soon you were standing in the hallway, watching him walk away as warmth took over your chest.
A back covered by a denim jacket had never looked so good, and the message you got next made you smile more than most.
”I know you’re still there. Please go up and get comfortable. 😙”

Titans 01×01 Review
SPOILER WARNING!!!
I was so excited when I first heard DC was making a live-action Teen Titans tv show. All my excitement kind of went away when I saw the leaked set photos for the show bc all the characters looked so weird and too different from the version I’m more familiar with. When the show premiered, I checked out a couple of reviews on it and there were some good reviews which made me a little curious so I decided to check out the pilot and it completely changed my mind and now I see the show in a completely new light and I want to share my thoughts on it.
The main thing about this show that got me hooked was the storyline. The entire show feels like a crossover event. When the show started, none of the main characters were in the same city, they had to slowly come together and so far, only Dick and Raven have interacted with each other. This show has been compared to Daredevil bc of its dark tone but I don't think it's anything like Daredevil, its really unique and that makes it exciting. Titans maybe a DC Show but it lacks the vibrance of the CW DC shows and is has a crazy storyline that completely sets it apart from the Marvel Netflix tv shows.
Titans also seems extremely character driven. With the exception of Beast Boy, we get to spend a lot of time with each of the main characters before they either meet each other or set off on their way to do so. This form of storytelling justifies the 50 minutes run time of the episode and ensures that screen time is properly utilized. As a result of this format, I was able to form an opinion on each main character by the end of the episode. This is why I had to give my thoughts on each main character separately in the order in which they were introduced in this episode:
  Raven/Rachel Roth
Raven was the first member of the team we're introduced to and I don't really like this version of her. The only thing really interesting about her is her sort of split personality coz there's a more demonic version of her that's a lot more stern and self-aware. I have this strong feeling that when Raven gets more control over her powers, her personality will no longer be split and she will be a lot less emotional which will make her a little more like the Raven from the animated show so I'm more excited about that. I love the fact that they really tried to show off how demonic Raven's powers really are. That felt like a right move for the character so I'm really glad they went there. I also love the fact that they didn't even introduce Raven's real mom yet. I can't wait to see the look on Raven's face when she finds out who her father really is.
  Robin/Dick Grayson
Seeing Robin fight and beat those guys so violently was very jarring. When he got to the very last dude and was just beating him with his stick after jamming his head on broken glass I actually had to look away. This version of Dick Grayson is extremely angry and really hates Batman bc he's a killer. He even leaves him bc he's becoming too much like him. I actually like what they're trying to do with this version of Dick Grayson, the main problem is they're not off to a good start. I feel his fight scene was just big wasted opportunity to showcase how much Dick wants to change and take the high road when it comes to brutalizing criminals. I would've preferred to see Dick trying to find a less bloody way to take down those guys and then when this method doesn't work, he'll be forced to rely on violence and then get really frustrated while he wonders if it's even possible to fight crime without going too far when it comes to violence. I feel like if the writers had taken Dick's storyline in this direction, his struggles would be more relatable. I just hope the writers do a better job as the story progresses.
Starfire/Kory Anders
Starfire's entire storyline is a big mystery and this makes her character a lot more interesting, especially when you remember you can't look to the comics for any explanation. The audience learns more about her as she learns more about herself and its a little frustrating bc we barely learn anything in this episode. The best thing about Starfire's scenes is the way she composes herself throughout the entire ordeal - she doesn't know who she is or why she's where she is and yet nothing fazes her, she even laughs in the face of danger when she doesn't even know her full power set. Another thing that was so captivating about this version of Starfire is the utter glee that overcomes her everytime she discovers a new ability bc it makes her fun to watch. I just love the fact that her search for Raven will bring her closer to the rest of the Titans. Starfire literally had the brightest scene in the entire episode. Watching Starfire turn orange while her fire was on full blast made me aware of the writer's intention to incorporate the features of Starfire we all know well into this new version of the character. This shows how creative the writers can be. They're really going out of their way to give us a fresh take on the character.
  Beast Boy/Garfield Logan
Beast Boy is only in this episode for a few seconds. The most interesting thing about Beast Boy's transformation is that whenever he turns back into a human he has no clothes on. This completely crushes the cliche transformation scenes in other movies and tv shows where characters magically have clothes on afterwards. While I really love the fact that the Titans tv show isn't using this trope, a new problem has arisen - will he always have to scramble for clothes after every transformation? I feel like some situations might not always allow this to go smoothly. I guess the simple fix is he could just remain an animal until he's ready to get dressed but I still feel like this could be a problem sooner than later and I'm really curious about how the writers will find a way around this as the story progresses.
Titans - The Highs and Lows of Being Different
Titans presents all it's characters in a manner that is extremely different from the way they are in the source material and that has been a good thing and a bad thing. Imho, I think the good outweighs the bad in this situation. There are so many superhero movies and tv shows, so many of them use the same themes and formula. Every new entry into the superhero genre must do it's best to stand out otherwise it'll be forced into oblivion sooner rather than later. When it comes to the movies, DC is seeking a full rebranding and introducing us to the elseworlds through the upcoming Joker movie while Marvel is finding a new way to tell an origin story in the Captain Marvel movie. Experimenting and keeping things fresh is the only way to ensure the audience remains interested in the superhero genre for many more years to come. Titans has already shown it's ability to experiment even at the expense of alienating part of the fan base of the teen titans. The real problem the show is bound to face is yet to come. The real issue with changing so much in order to make a new story lies in maintaining this new story. The writing and story structure of this show will forever be under heavy scrutiny. Every single misstep along the line will be constantly scrutinized. The only way the writers can truly justify the existence of their own interpretation of the teen titans is by giving us a story that is plot-hole free and after awhile, they could get more people on board with their version of the teen titans.

Ch 22 Deleted Scene: Ninja Info Cards
A/N: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbjXmBmHAdk ur welcome ; )
ANYWAY I didn’t use this scene because it was waaay too canon compliant and also would’ve probably had to have the rookie nine’s reaction to Sakura which I’m still hanging onto. Cuts off suddenly bc I realized I didn’t want to use the scene but I still think it’s pretty good.
Crowded was a word. A very good word, describing what it was like when lots of people were in one place.
It did not describe how packed room 301 was.
A lot of people had turned at the sound of the doors opening, Naruto flinching at how many stares had suddenly latched onto him. But Sasuke simply glowered back, unpeturbed by the attention. The tension felt thick, choking, and I wanted nothing else than to turn on my heel and walk out.
That is until a familiar girl came flying out of nowhere towards Sasuke.
Sasuke’s hands shot out of his pockets, starting to move into a defensive stance, but his ‘attacker’ was not, in fact, hostile and, after realizing this, he clearly didn’t know what to do. So he allowed the purple blur to crash into him, stumbling backwards.
“Sasuke-kun! It’s been far too long, I missed you~!” Ino lathered on the sickly sweet tone as she caught Sasuke in a tight hug, the Uchiha barely able to keep his balance. He shot a look over at me that was something in between confusion, horror and a begrudging request for help.
No, fuck that.
“And there she goes.” Another familiar voice sounded as Sasuke’s eyes narrowed into a glare at my obvious refusal to free him from Ino’s clutches, the Uchiha having to instead attempt to slowly pry the girl off of him but to little avail. I turned to see Shikamaru and Chōji approaching, the former shooting a look of mild exasperation at Ino’s antics but clearly not wishing to get involved either.
“Oh, it’s you guys!” Any kind of apprehension Naruto could’ve been feeling melted away fast and he grinned over at the two members of team ten.
Shikamaru raised an eyebrow. “Huh, you actually got nominated for this dumb exam too?” It was said in a tone of slight disbelief. Naruto had been dead last in class after all so it was no wonder his nomination for the chūnin exams was surprising.
The blonde caught the insinuation and scowled. “Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?!” He might’ve shown a falter in his confidence to team seven yesterday but there was no way in hell he was going to be anything but self-assured in front of anyone else.
“Geez, relax a bit will ya?” Shikamaru rolled his eyes, stuffing his hands into his pockets. His gaze briefly flicked to me and on reflex, I shifted my stare away only to see team eight approaching too.
“Look’s like we all made it,” Kiba smirked, shooting Sasuke a challenging look that the Uchiha was more than happy to return. “The nine rookies all here together, huh?”
Bad.
We were quickly becoming more and more of a focal point for everyone else. Standing right by the exit and talking loudly amongst ourselves was a sure fire way to get everyone’s attention. But I couldn’t exactly break away from the group now without my team. Everyone in the room was in threes and being on your own was like asking for the whole room to stare-
It was for that exact reason my eyes found Kabuto almost instantaneously.
He was moving towards us slowly, expression the perfect image of mild exasperation. Everything twisted inside me, less from fear at his presence and more in despair at what him approaching us actually meant. I’d been hoping in miserable vain that because Sasuke didn’t have his sharingan Orochimaru wouldn’t be interested in him yet. But the snake wanted a Uchiha and a Uchiha he was going to get, even if he had to wait a little while to get the famed dōjutsu. Kabuto going out of his way to interact with us heavily indicated Orochimaru had latched his eyes onto my teammate.
Damn it. Damn it.
Stay calm.
I turned out to not be the only one to notice the boy’s approach. Shino had twisted around a little, expression as unreadable as ever but clearly tensing up. Shikamaru’s eyes darted between both me and the Aburame, obviously seeing both of our reactions and tilting his head to see what we’d seen too. Sasuke was next and he set his jaw, gaze flicking briefly to me in question as to whether I knew who the guy was.
“You newbies should settle down a little. This isn’t some school trip y’know.”
All of my ex-classmates stopped talking. Ino’s arms retracted from around Sasuke’s shoulders, gaze suspicious, but it was Kiba who bit first, eyes narrowing. “Who the hell are you?” He demanded to know, joking, amused tone from earlier having vanished abruptly.
Kabuto hadn’t exactly won points by patronising us. Then again, he had every reason to think of us as children compared to him. I might not have been absolutely terrified of the boy because I knew he wasn’t going to outright attack me and his power level paled when compared to Orochimaru, but he wasn’t a pushover by any stretch of the word. He could kill us all without even breaking a sweat.
“I’m Kabuto,” he introduced himself, placing his hand on his hip and offering a rather condescending smile. “But I think you should worry less about who I am, more about how much attention you’re all drawing to yourselves. Honestly, it’s painfully obvious this is your first time at the exams.”
“Maybe we just don’t shy away from a little attention.” It was Ino’s turn to bite back, gaze darting around the room however and taking in the fact a lot of people were staring at us. “What’s it to you, anyway?”
Kabuto put his hands up in a display of surrender. “Just trying to give a bit of friendly advice to the rookies. Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off like I was criticising you.”
That was a bold-faced lie if I’d ever heard one. Even Naruto seemed to have caught on Kabuto wasn’t exactly presenting himself as our greatest ally, eyes darting to me in a similar questioning gesture to Sasuke’s earlier. What was Kabuto’s game here? If he was trying to integrate himself with us then he was doing a pretty awful job at it. Was he just trying to make himself a familiar face? This was certainly a way to get us to remember him if nothing else.
“Look, how about I make it up to you. I’ve been in a lot of these exams and have acquired a lot of information over the years. I can spare to show you guys some of my ninja-info cards if you want.”
I couldn’t believe the name was supposed to be anything but purposefully childish. There was a specific image Kabuto was attempting to present to us of himself and he was succeeding magnificently at it. Through the utter distrust and terror that squirmed underneath the surface, I was in morbid awe of his ability to do this.
Watching as he demonstrated how to reveal the information, Kabuto then shot us another smile, this time with a smug edge to it. “So, have anything you want to find out? I have information on participants too - of course, you lot included.”
Something dropped in the pit of my stomach at the thought. How much did Kabuto know about me personally? How had he managed to acquire it? No, there was no point thinking about that. This was Kabuto. All thinking about it would do was set off a chain of growing terror and now really wasn’t the time to acquire a deafening fear of him.
“Then show me what you have on my team.”
I snapped my gaze to Sasuke, surprise bubbling up inside me at the request. It was a good choice.
A/N: It’s been a while since I wrote this but I think the reasoning behind why this was a good choice was so that team 7 would know ‘everything’ Kabuto knew about them and therefore Kabuto wouldn’t have the upper hand on them anymore if they had to face off in any way. It would also confirm the validity of Kabuto’s findings since if his stats on them were right then presumably his other info cards would be accurate too. And to top it all off, Sasuke’s kinda telling Kabuto straight to his face that he doesn’t trust him one bit in a way that would probably piss someone off jfjfjf

Note
okay okay i picked a few questions of the 100 OC asks thing but they are a LOT so if they are too many feel free to skip any c: 3, 5, 7, 14, 15, 31, 32, 37, 42, 47, 56, 57, 63, 65, 68, 69, 81, 84
I cannot thank you enough leaaaaaaa!!!!!!! This’ll really help developy children ;v; (also I switched the chatracters I’ll be using to Jaspar, Glen, and Tessa, because they’re my least rounded out people!) Also sorry idk how to do the under the cut thing on mobile,,,,
3. Biggest motivator?
Jaspar’s motivation in life is equality and/or justice! Glen’s is just morbid curiosity, he lives to do things just to see what the effect would be. Tessa is motivated largely by happiness, and the satisfaction of finishing/starting/doing something.
5. How do they deal/react with pain?
Hm. Physical or emotional pain? Because Jaspar would hide both tbh, and check on others before seeing that he is okay. Glen will just get super pissed off either way, and will probably break something to get out his pain. Tessa will isolate herself if she’s emotionally hurting, but if she gets physically injured she will just go into panic mode and hyperventilate, she’ll try her best to fix it on her own before going for help.
7. Which of their relationships have impacted them most positively?
Jaspar’s friendship with Emery made him feel strangely… alive. He’d been watching this boy from afar for 17 years, learning about Emery and yearning to form any kind of bond with him. When he finally does, he just wants to gush to him about everything! (Emery doesn’t stop him, despite not knowing him as long as Jaspar had known him.) Glen was really positively changed when Jaspar was introduced into his life. Someone to control the self-destructive impulses that Glen harbors in a nonviolent way (he’s very used to people in his life telling him what to do and using violence to enforce it), and to offer emotional support even if he can’t really convey his problems in words. Tessa’s life changed for the better when she met Chris, honestly? Originally she’d only seen him in the premonitions she would get, and in those he was shown doing… Bad Things. But he seemed like a whole different person when they ran into each other officially? He was aloof and didnt seem to sweat the small stuff, and (even though he didnt try to), he taught Tessa to not stress about things as much and just let life carry you sometimes, which she really needed 😊
14. How do they react to/deal with betrayal?
Jaspar will just softly grieve, and maybe disappear for a couple weeks to figure out what the logical thing he should do next is? (Because he’d be in utter shock, reasoning it out will be the only thing to help). Glen will make it a point to show people that he wasn’t affected by it, but he finds himself randomly spacing off and thinking about the person that betrayed him, he’d probably try to justify what they did and blame himself. Tessa would be a MESS. She’d feel lost and adrift. because she forms bonds with people fast and easily grows attatched to people, it’d just utterly break her entire being.
5. What is their greatest achievement?
Tbh it’s hard to say for Jaspar and Glen, bc their lives got cut short? Butttt I guess Jaspar’s greatest achievement (when alive) was raising $200 (this is 1850s-ish money, so it would currently be around $6,000?)for his family-run restaurant that was going under. Glen’s was getting his band a gig in the most famous venue in his state! Tessa’s was getting awards for three of her works in her colleg’s art contest (she submitted almost several pieces)
31. Are they more organized or messy?
Jaspar: Very. Very. Organized. Glen: sorta inbetween, he prefers organization but doesn’t want to deal with cleaning. Tessa cannot function unless there are papers strewn about absolutely everywhere in her room!
32. Pet peeves?
Jaspar hates when people grind their teeth, and also when people fish for attention. Glen HATES being told to calm down or be quiet, or seeing someone else being stifled. Tessa hates when people randomly interrupt conversations, and also when people click their pens (which Glen does A LOT.)
37. Last time they cried?
Jaspar cries at least once every week. Glen cries once every blue moon. Tessa, bless her, cries almost every other day… usually it’s stress.
42. Do they have any bad habbits?
Jaspar hums when he is thinking deeply, and shakes his leg when he’s sitting down. Glen, as said previously, WILL click a pen rapidly if he can get his hands on one (sometimes he steals them just so he can have something to do with his hands), he also chews on the inside of his cheek a lot which leads to really scarred up inside cheeks. Tessa picks at split ends and bites her nails!
47. Romantically interested in anyone?
Jaspar: YES. very much so. It’s Emery. Hardcore loves that boy. Would die for him. Glen: honestly he prefers friendships, he’s afraid of commitment. Tessa: sadly she still has feelings for Rocky, this ass dude who cheated on her, but she’s slowly getting over it!!!!
56. Hogwarts house?
Jaspar: Ravenclaw, Glen: Slytherin/Gryffindor , Tessa: Hufflepuff … or maybe Ravenclaw
57. D&D alignment?
Jaspar: Lawful good (?) , Glen: Chaotic Good. Tessa: Neutral good
63. Do they have an accent?
Jaspar just has the normal american accent. GlEN HOWEVER. HAS A VERRY THICK AUSTRALIAN ACCENT. WHY HASNT HE LOST IT YET??? Tessa has a slight sweet Minnesotan accent that refuses to leave her even though it’s been years since she lived in Minnesota.
65. If they knew they were going to die, what would they do/say?
Jaspar would leave and go on a road trip to all the places he wanted to visit, after saying goodbye to his family and friends.. Glen would not go down quietly, and cause havoc by committing a string of crimes. Tessa would probably get a lot quieter, she’d stop going to school too. Her dads would stay at home with her to keep her from thinking about it too much.
68. Do they become squeamish at the sight of blood?
It’d be funny if Jaspar didn’t like blood lol. Glen enjoys it. TESSA, she PAINTS with the stuff, so she isn’t made uncomfortable by it.
69. Anything they find really gross?
Jaspar- backwashed water. Glen-all bugs. Like, even butterflies. Tessa- moldy food. She barfs a bit in her mouth every time she sees it.
81. Do they try to hide their emotions? Are they successful?
Jaspar TRIES to, but he just can’t help it. When he’s feeling something he will tell people. Glen actually hides what he’s feeling really well. Poor guy is usually very overwhelmed with everything, but he doesn’t show it at all. Tessa wears her emotions on her sleeves.
84. What are some physical features they find attractive on people?
Jaspar is a sucker for freckles. Glen thinks blonde hair is really cute. He really has a thing for blondes. Tessa doesn’t think appearance matters much, but she’s enthralled by people with deep green eyes.
Gosh, again, thank you !!!! Some of these really made me have to think a little bit, and I loved the challenge!! I should’ve brought Ravi into this too tho :c Next Time!!! (I just hope they don’t sound boring/generic??? My only worry.)

metr0con 2019 sunday diary
cosplayed: tsukasa, breakfast: ramen, snack: one (1) root beer lollipop
for future me only. also, disclaimer: im writing this at 5 am while extremely tired afte waking up from being asleep at my desk. i forgot a lot of specifics in all that time since i left the con n most of his is mediocre.
so i arrived at 10 am for the ha!kyuu panel only yo go to the panel room and see that it had been canceled (the panel name was crossed out n “cancelled” was written next to the panel name) so i had woken up early for Nothing bc i also had no panel at 11 so i had 2 free hrs to kill. i also checked the room where the UT panel was supposed to b happening in bc i like UT n had nothing to do, but there was no one in the room so.. unfortunately, my stomach started hurting rly bad, so a good chunk of that time was spent w me sat on the floor near a wall thingy or walking slowly. unfortunately the dealers room hadnt been opened yet so i just sat around then when the dealers room opened i started to wander a bit more. i didnt take a lot of photos bc my energy and socialness was kinda drained due to the stomachache pain so like. rip.
then there was the dd-lc panel! in it, some guy in the audience offered natsuki snack bars (n she took one, as well as gave one to yuri) after calling her “the starving one”, and ome guy said “natsuki, your dad’s a dick. can i adopt you” n went up to the panel table n sifned a piece of paper monika wrote on that was ‘adoption papers’ and he gave natsuki a hug n called her his daughter for the rest of the panel. some guy dared natsuki to rip a page out of her manga (she had 2 books of manga on the table) n she actually DID rip out a page, and not a useless one like the “you’re reading the wrong way” page, either. the audience was like “why!!” n she n monika were like “i’m/impulsive!!”. natsuki was frequently referred to w “baby” (as im “she’s baby”) throughtout the panel. everyone thought yuri was the most fashionable when asked on a truth. sayori was asked how it was “hanging” and what her favorite brand of rope was.
after that, i Wanted to go to the she r-a princess alliance, but when i kept glancing out at the riverwalk, there was no one there?? so i just went to the bn-ha improv n it was!! actually funny. there was a skit where iida, denki, n kirishima were at a coffee shop n present m!c was the barista n iida ordered black coffee but said it wasnt right or smth or he never rly got his order, denki asked for a mocha with seventeen shots of expresso (he then drank it n did the “wey wey” friend brain thing later b4 the skit ended and was also vibrating after drinking it), and kirishima listed off a ton of things for his drink n kept going on and on. another one was bakugou being shown to be a “mommys boy” in front of uraraka and shinsou (i think) and there was a mitsuki in the audience so she went up (and actually brought snacks for the panelists! like a true mom) and during the skit she showed them his baby photos and pushed him down n at some point idk how she was sitting on his back n using him as a chair. there was also a skit w bakugou as the person at a coffee shop that had NO drinks whatsoever, only a bagel. n iida was like “what’s the flavor?” n bakugou just kept going “..bagel.” n “bagel flavor. i dunno.” n iida asked how much it was n bakugou went “$400″. then while present m!c was going on abt wanting a drink n getting angy, the iida went into the audience n started asking a few random ppl while they walked down the aisle “is this a dunkin donuts?”
after that i just walked around bc i had 2 more hrs w Nothing to do and stumbled upon a casual FP group in the dealers room but before i could get  picture one of them recognized the character on my sign or just the series or smth i think but onething led to another n i started talking with them and i sat down w them but they were like “can you like, introduce us to ens-tars we hear a lot abt it” so i went on the wiki n showed them the characters n the gentaro rly liked rabits (shino n nito in particular) n rei, dice liked yuzuru n shinobu, n ramuda liked tori n rei. i showed them reis cgs, specifically the one w kaoru and his crossroads cg n i was like “the cgs that signlehandedly made the whole fandom h*rny for like. a week.” n the gentaro was like “you mind if i [takes a drink] Thirst.” n the gentaro was also interested in koga n i was like “he’s an edgy wolfk!n who likes punk music” and i talked abt what wataru is like n fice was like “he seems like hifumi” n im like “he rly is!! he’s hifumikin.” n for shu, ramuda was like “apparently hes an asshole” n i was like “yea definitely.” n when they asked me to describe leo i was like “oh uh. he’s Fuck. i dunno how to describe him! i dont rly like him that much tbh. he’s ecentirc n one of the oddballs n he composes on walls and literally their drama cd back in the day is knights looking for him n like, finding him behid a bush composing going ‘i got inspiration!!’” n i referred to midori as the suicidal one n i was like “you tink im joking but anytime anything happens he always goes ‘i wanna die’” and when i talked abt souma ramuda was like “is he friends with shinobu?” since i’d already described shinobu n i was like “well they kno each ogher but theyre not rly friends iirc.. they had an event together tho”. at one point the ramuda paused the music they were playing in the bg n decided toplay ens-tars music n they chose undead n started blasting Death Game Holic n i was like “...oh. that’s not undead” n ramuda was like “it says undead..?” n i was like “its Deadmanz! a former unit w koga, keito, n rei” n i started jamming out n the gentaro slightly joined me for a sec. anyway uh. god these tidbits of convo r all out of order im sry but idk what caused this part of the convo but the ramuda said they were ramudakin n the gentaro said they were lowkey gentarokin n i think they mentioned these bc dice said they cosplayed dice yet arent dicekin?? i cant rly remember. oh also when i showed the gentaro rei they were like “oh i kin him now. im not saying in kinning, but im Kinning” or smth like that n im gjhnsmk at one point i mentioned my friend kuma’s dice rat art edit n the gentaro wanted 2 see it but i couldnt show em bc it was too far back in my tumblr dms. we started talking abt MTC and how ramuda wishes they got like, more hardcore rock stuff like Death Game Holic (which was still playing) bc they seemed “gangsta n hardcore” then immediately mellowed out in their songs after that n i said that yokohama walker still like, slaps tho n it kinda calms me down n ramuda said papillion calms them down. the ramuda was shocked at tori’s high voice bc they knew his va as worick from gangsta n didnt think toris voice would b That High n were surprised when they heard tori’s solo.
after that, i had a hard time trying to decide between the LL dance panel or the hs panel n just decided on the LL panel n i hav the dances on video so yay (the final song got cut off 3/4 of the way thru n im so :(( but oh well...) n they played Telephone/Rumors and “Who’s Most Likely”. between this panel and the next one, i talked to a kaito who was the aki hana’s hanayo the previous day n we just talked abt some stuff n at one point they pulled out an izanagi plush n they asked if i was into pers0na n i was like “yea! i even was gonna cosplay adachi but my gun didnt come in n i dont think i coulda done his wig” n they apparently had abt 300 hrs on pers0na 3 FES n we talked abt how stat grinding is such a repetitive, boring thing in pers0na 3.
the bn-ha panel! i... dont remember a whole lot abt this panel im sorry. but like, halway thru, they started playing games w he audience after q n a n i got bored bc they did things like red light green light n simon says so i just took selfies while most of the audience played along. during the qna i remember someone asked shigaraki if their fog plushie could b a league of villains member tho n he said ys n held the push when it was handed to him. someone gave bakugou a giant human-sized fan n todoroki went up against bakugou w his rainbow fan.
